Real Adventure Group

Cookies Policy

Like many other websites we use ‘cookies’ to track our users behaviour on our Websites (www.realaussieadventures.com, www.realadventuregroup.com and www.realkiwiadventures.com) such that we may improve the quality of our Websites and improve our own marketing performance.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites and services that you visit or access. They are widely used to make websites and services work and function with greater efficiency, and to provide information about our users experience during use of, or interaction with, our Websites, Services and advertisements.

Some cookies last only for the duration of your web session and expire when you exit your browser; other cookies may last for longer than your web session, including after you exit your browser, for example by remembering you when you return to our Website.

The cookies that you may encounter using our Websites are:

Functional cookies:

If you are logging in to our Travel Agent Portal we store a unique ID number and the time you signed in, in an encrypted cookie on your computer. This cookie allows you to move from page to page within the portal without having to sign in again on each page. You can also save your sign-in information so that the site remembers you next time.

A cookie is stored for the duration of your visit to our website when you check availability on any product. This cookie passes information about which product you are choosing to our travel reservations engine called Website Travel. Website Travel uses a functional cookie to store the information about which product, which date you will travel, and number of persons as you journey through the purchase process.

Our HelpOnClick widget may store a cookie while you interact with us on our website to preserve the chat content during your conversation.

Advertising and Social Media cookies:

We may collect cookies to allow us to better understand our customers through data analysis which also enables us to present you with re-targeted advertising based on your previous interactions with our Websites. Importantly collecting cookies is not the same as collecting Personal Data; cookies will not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number.

Our Websites include code snippets provided by social media companies such as Facebook and Instagram that can sense if you are already logged into a given social media account so you can easily share our content with other social media users via that account. These code snippets read cookies set previously by the social media company while you are logged in and using those services. We can not access any of your Personal Data via those cookies.

We embed videos from our YouTube channel. You Tube may set cookies on your computer once you click on the YouTube video player.

Universal Analytics:

As is normal on most websites we use Google Analytics to aggregate the usage data of our Website visitors. Primarily Google Analytics uses cookies to count the number of unique visitors to a web page or service or to our blog and to develop other statistics about the operations of our Websites. We use the information to compile reports and to help us improve our Websites.

Service cookies:

We use the CloudFlare CDN to provide faster and more secure distribution of our Websites. Cloudflare may use cookies to ensure that our content is server from the fastest and closest server to you and that our Websites are always online and that the load on one web server is not too great thereby spoiling your use.

You can turn off cookies on your computer

By default most web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer) accept cookies. However, most also allow you to either block them or to be notified of their presence. Instructions on how to do this is in the privacy or help documentation of the browser itself. You can find out much more about cookies at www.aboutcookies.org
