Day 1 : Broome to Silent Grove
Departing Broome early in the morning we head east towards the famous Gibb River Road and arrive at Windjana Gorge in the Napier Ranges for lunch. After lunch we will explore the gorge to view the native birds and resident freshwater crocodiles. In the afternoon we explore Tunnel Creek and hear the legend of the Aboriginal freedom fighter, Jandamarra, before heading to Silent Grove for our first night under the stars.

Day 2 : Silent Grove to Mt Elizabeth
Enjoy your first morning waking up in the wilderness far away from the hustle and bustle of city life. On day 2 you will explore more of the region’s gorges including Bell, Galvans and Manning. Due to the incredible diversity of the north west the water levels at the time of your journey will determine which gorges you visit, however each are unique and awe-inspiring in their own right. After a day of exploring and swimming in these magnificent natural attractions we will travel to our overnight location on the working cattle station of Mount Elizabeth.

Day 3 : Mt Elizabeth to El Questro
Heading further east we will explore, swim and hike this amazing region of Western Australia, driving across the vast Pentecost River and reaching the beautiful outback oasis that is El Questro. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to take advantage of the many optional activities available at El Questro (Extra Cost).

Day 4 : El Questro
On day 4 we will discover a portion of the one million acres of the El Questro Wilderness Park beginning with a soak in Zebedee Springs and a hike into El Questro Gorge. Then sit back and relax by the river or grab a drink at the Swinging Arm Bar before settling for our final night at El Questro.

Day 5 : El Questro to Lake Argyle via Kununurra
Wake up in glorious El Questro for the second time then enjoy a short drive and morning hike to the refreshing Emma Gorge. Back on the road, we head towards the Hoochery distillery, the oldest continuously operating distillery in Western Australia. Here you will have the opportunity to taste test the famous Ord River Rum (optional extra). We will then stop in Kununurra for a spot of lunch then continue through to Lake Argyle, Australia’s largest man-made lake to set up camp. After you're all set up you will have the option to experience an afternoon on the water with a sunset cruise on the lake (optional extra) before dinner and a much deserved sleep before exciting day 6!

Day 6 : Lake Argyle to Purnululu National Park and Return to Kununurra
On this morning we drive from Lake Argyle, into Kununurra ready to board our flight to the Bungle Bungles. For this leg of the tour, Aussie Wanderer has partnered up with AVIAIR to create a once in a life time opportunity. From here, we begin the Bungle Bungle Wanderer Tour! Definitely a bucket list moment! The tour begins with a one hour scenic flight over Lake Argyle, Lake Kununurra, the Ord and Bow Rivers, the Carr Boyd and Osmond Ranges and a first look at the Bungle Bungles from the sky! Once landed at the remote Purnululu National Park airfield we’ll begin the land based part of the tour. Walk amongst the incredible contrasted beehive structures of the Bungle Bungles, explore Piccaninny Creek and visit the breathtaking Cathedral Gorge for lunch whilst learning about the cultural significance of the area. This amazing adventure will end with a return scenic flight over the Argyle Diamond Mine finishing up at the Hidden Valley Caravan Park in Kununurra for the night.

Day 7 : Kununurra to Katherine
This morning we say goodbye to our passengers returning to Broome and start making our way to Victoria River Roadhouse where we will do the escarpment walk and have lunch. Then we will head towards Katherine and visit their crystal clear hot springs, arriving at our accommodation in the late afternoon at Knotts Crossing Resort for dinner and a swim in the resort pool.

Day 8 : Katherine to Darwin
Our final day sees us journey to one of the Northern Territory’s most stunning areas, Litchfield National Park. On our way, we will stop for lunch at the ethereal Butterfly Farm before progressing further to experience the fascinating Magnetic Termite Mounds, Florence Falls and Buley Rockhole before arriving in Darwin in the early evening.
