The South Coast might not be on everyones immediate radar but this is arguably one of the best day trips from Sydney to see a real slice of Australia treasure.
Departing only on Sundays we drag you out of bed early after a big Sydney Saturday night and help you clear the cobwebs with a gentle meander through the rolling hills south of Sydney along the South Coast. You will quickly feel revitalised and refreshed from the stunning views of the coastline on the left, the quaint coastal villages of Berry and Kiama Heights, and the towering Great Dividing Mountain Range on the right.
We are making our way to the beautiful Jervis Bay for a leisurely picnic lunch of fresh local produce at the sparking white sand Hyams beach, perfect for some sun baking and a delightful swim in the crystal clear Pacific Ocean, before we head out for a cruise in search of the playful bottlenose dolphins. Jervis Bay is a protected marine park so you will encounter a whole raft of marine life, like blue penguins, seals, and if we are lucky migrating Humpback whales between June and October.
