This day trip to the beauty of the one million hectare UNESCO World Heritage listed Blue Mountains is our most popular day tour in Australia. The endless Instagram opportunities as we pass through the inspiring landscape made up of rainforests, canyons, tall forests and headlands will have you burning through you camera/phone battery.
Led by our expert eco-accredited guides, with in-depth commentary, we take you into the heart of the Blue Mountains for a bush hike to the majestic Wentworth Falls and a trip to see the famous Three Sisters sandstone cliff formations to discover the hidden meaning of the name 'Blue Mountains’. Learn stories of the ancient indigenous inhabitants, a food called ‘bush tucker’ and the wonderful array of native flora and fauna.
Although not graded as easy the walks on this trip are perfectly manageable for those with reasonable fitness. For those with less levels of fitness there are different walks to suit all levels of enthusiasm. However we really encouraged that you do the hour long hike, which entails a good level of fitness.
On the way into the Blue Mountains National Park we bring you to the Featherdale Wildlife Park, our favourite wildlife park in Australia, to get close to a bunch of native animals include a cuddle with a Koala, feeding the Kangaroos and massive crocodiles (cuddling not recommended).
A freshly prepared lunch including a choice of chicken, ham, beef roll and a fantastic sweet finish is served in Katoomba.
Our Blue Mountains Day Trip runs daily in our comfortable our air-conditioned vehicles.
